Favorite Game (Current)? -- Fable II or (of course) Halo 3
Favorite Game (All Time)? -- Halo 2 or Super Mario World on the SNES
How did you choose your GT? -- I guess it was easy to add "-lish" to my name... so my uber unique GT became Daishalish.
What is your gaming set up like? -- I've got the old school games set up in a spare room which includes a 32" tube TV and my Super Nintendo, Game Cube, Original XBox, and PS2. The XBox 360 and Nintendo Wii are set up in the living room with our 26" HD LCD TV (upgrading soon!). Throw in some minor surround sound, and plenty of seating, and you get the idea of the "setup."
What games are you looking forward to? -- I want to get Sacred 2, as I'm a huge Diablo II fan - I figure anything "Diablo-esque" on the 360 should be right up my alley. With that said, I'm of course on the edge of my seat for Diablo III. It can't come soon enough I tell you!
What Xbox 360 Achievement are you most proud of? -- Okay so you've revealed my secret... I pay very little attention to the Achievements. I notice sometimes when I achieve something in Fable II, and sometimes check out what it is. Last Achievement I remember checking out was The Romantic in Fable II, and apparently it's in reward for taking someone on the perfect date. Alrighty then...
What does your significant other think about your gaming? -- I'm sure he is extremely thankful for my gaming. He's enjoys more single player games, and I'm more of a multiplayer. Simply said, it's nice to share such a time consuming hobby with your spouse, regardless of whether or not you play together.

How did you arrive at SG? --A member invited me into a large custom game on Halo 2. I had never played with so many cooperating people in one room before, and I was hooked.
What is it that makes you keep coming back to the SG Forums? -- The game reviews and of course the community. My four year membership at SG has been truly rewarding. Why wouldn't I come back!?
What SG thread is most memorable to you? Why? -- All my favorite threads are in the Diva's forum, and I'm not spilling.
Best SG Moment?-- Every time I met an SG'er. Seriously, those were always great moments.

Hobbies, other than Gaming? -- Reading, writing, TiVo, web forums, shopping hehe
Favorite movie/TV show/book? -- The Godfather (both book and movie/trilogy) or House
Favorite gift you've ever received? -- The 1982 VW Rabbit I got for my 16th birthday. Canary yellow with black racing stripes up the front. Caramel colored convertible soft top and a rainbow Hawaiian lea hanging from the mirror. LOVED that car.
What real life achievement are you most proud of? -- Probably my Bachelor's. While it doesn't so far seem to be worth it financially speaking, the experience, friendships, and knowledge I gained have been truly invaluable.
What do you do for a living (and/or) what is your dream job? --I am a Computer Technician, and it had always been my dream job. I've been super fortunate to know what I always wanted to do, and apparently diligent enough to make it a reality. Now, I see this just growing into more jobs I love in a field I love to be in. It doesn't get much luckier, blessed even, than this.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what 3 things would you bring with you? Why? -- Satellite radio, Solar charger w/ batteries, and a water purifier.
Share one thing interesting thing about yourself that many folks might not know. -- I grew up around golf courses and used to compete when I was a teenager. I recently got a new set of clubs and have been playing more again. I really enjoy the game.
When you were little, who was your favorite super hero and why? -- Michaelangelo of the TMNT, because he always made me laugh and was totally the most fun.
Name something that you lied to your parents about that you still haven't come clean on? -- Some things one must take to the grave... <wink>
What is your go-to karaoke song? -- Kokomo by The Beach Boys

What course of study is your Bachelor's Degree in? -- Got my Bachelor's in English (no specialty like English Lit or Creative Writing, just English).
Re: Golf - what is your average round? Any courses you dream of playing one day? -- It has honestly been so long since I played a full round of golf, I'm almost ashamed to admit that. When I was a kid and competing I think I did well to average 82 or so. I have always dreamed of playing on the local course Karsten Creek here in Oklahoma, although fright has probably kept me away <wink>
Favorite Godfather character? -- It's terribly difficult to choose between Michael Corleone or Vito. Vito has amazing intelligence. He can see through anything, and teaches the most important lessons. However Michael is plain and simple a total bad ass. |
