Help me out with a theory.

Post which movie you like better and which one you saw first. Pretty simple, but I'm sure Noodles will come in here and screw it up for us Posted Image .

Tombstone for both. I think Wyatt Earp is the better movie but Tombstone is just more entertaining.

Yeah, except I need to be able to match up both choices to the same person. I guess I could make the choices:

Wyatt Earp and Wyatt Earp
Wyatt Earp and Tombstone
Tombstone and Wyatt Earp
Tombstone and Tombstone

Or I could just leave it like it is Posted Image .

Tombstone, and definitely, Tombstone. The casting, acting, and ass-kicking was definitely better in Tombstone (IMHO). I am not a huge Costner fan to begin with, and he turned out another very cookie cutter Costner'esque performance in this role. The only films that I really like him in besides Bull Durham was Open Range and oddly enough, The Postman. Not sure why I liked The Postman, but I did.

Anyway, Tombstone FTW  !!!

Yeah I have to say I'm not a huge Costner fan beyond The Untouchables but I tolerate that film mostly because of Connery and Andy Garcia. Tombstone is one of my favorite films. I saw Tombstone first. Earp is played on cable every now and then and I can't sit through the thing. His acting.. ugh. Yeah, not a fan.

Besides, you can't beat that Tombstone line that Kurt Russel belted out in The Oriental "Jerk that smokewagon and take what's comin' to you!"

Tombstone first but Wyatt Earp was a better movie. Wyatt Earp followed the actual story a little more closley .

Tombstone and Tombstone.

(And, I assume your theory is that whichever one you saw first you like more, and it seems to be borne out by the answers so far. Though, it could also be that most people saw Tombstone first, which is also borne out. OR, it could be that Tombstone is a better movie... which it is.) (I don't understand the "I liked Tombstone more but Wyatt Earp is a better movie answers.)
